Children's Day Art Park 2014 - The Biscuit Brothers

It is that time of year again...SUMMER! Yes it is H-O-T, but it is also time for the Austin Symphony's weekly Children's Day Art Park.  I started taking Dutch to this in 2011, we skipped 2012 because Baker was too little, but we all went last year.  In the past we have only gone for one of the weeks, but I want to go to a few of them this year.  Today was the first event and it was awesome!  Local celebrities, The Biscuit Brothers, played and were available in the Art Tent for pictures after the show.  If you don't have kids in the Austin area, you may not be aware of these Brothers, but they have a kids show on PBS Saturday mornings.  We have only seen it once, but it is pretty funny.  They also sing, obviously as we were at a concert.

Given all that, Dutch's favorite part was playing the instruments.  This is the first year he has been able to try his hand at the instrument petting zoo and he loved it.  They clean the mouth pieces between each child (whew!) so Dutch got to get his hands on them and give them all a blow.  I'm sure he will enjoy going again in a few weeks!
