Finally!

We finally got Dutch laughing caught on camera last night!  Its kind of dark and grainy because it was right before bedtime (when he is the most relaxed), but you can still hear his amazing little giggles.  It makes Dan and I laugh and smile every time!

Oh where does the time go...

Dutch is 15 weeks old today.  15 weeks!  I can't believe how fast 15 weeks has gone by.  It seems like just yesterday we found out we were going to have a baby, but really it was almost a year ago.  Even though the last 15 weeks has flown by in the blink of an eye, it has been filled with lots of fun, love, and laughs.  We've loved getting to spend all this time with our friends and family and look forward to more. Anyway, enough mushy reminiscing.  We've had a few full weekends now and I need to catch every one up.  I've got pictures below, so in order of the events here is a recap. Dan's big 4-0 birthday was 1.5 weeks ago.  My Mom and her husband Jason came up to celebrate with us.  We made some delicious Mikulik Sausage that we got last time we were in San Angelo...yum!  Dan and Jason trolled the river for many hours on Saturday and then again Sunday morning, but all they came back with was a story about the big one that got away ...

Mobile Entertainment

We hung a mobile over Dutch's bed this week and man is he in love.  We have to take it down at night because he loves talking to it so much that he would never get any sleep (and because Mom doesn't trust that it won't fall down during the night).  Anyway, below is a video I took of him this morning enjoying his time with the mobile. Last weekend Capri's grandparents came up to visit.  We had a great time hanging out and showing off how big Dutch has gotten.  This weekend is Dan's birthday (Yay!).  We don't have any big plans but I'm sure it will be great all the same.  Capri's Mom and her husband Jason are coming up on Saturday so they will get to celebrate with us. Oh, one other big thing...Dutch has started laughing!  Its a great little breathy giggle.  We're having a hard time getting it on video because its not predictable, but we'll keep trying.

Mom-Mom :)

I got up the courage to really cut off my hair on Saturday and I must say... I LOVE IT!  (Pics below) We had a great trip down to Port Lavaca on Sunday to meet the family.  It was so awesome to finally meet my Great Grandmother (Mom-Mom) and for Dutch to get to know more family.  Dutch is a lot bigger and more actve than the last time Grandma Dee and Grandpa Fred saw him and they loved all his big smiles and coos.  Mom-Mom travels back to PA tomorrow, so we'll keep her in our thoughts for safe travel.
