We had some things to do in New Braunfels on Thursday. When we were done with our errands I took the boys to the park. They loved it! Baker loved being free to crawl around and Dutch loves that it is big and not many people.
It seems like I have been seeing a lot of animals around here the last couple if weeks. I guess Spring really is in the air. Here is what I recall seeing in the last 2 days: -rabbit -ducks -hawks -turtles -cardinals -hummingbirds -white herons -great blue herons (I actually saw 2 great blue herons chasing each other this morning.) -roaming dog -lizards Add to this list what I saw last week: -huge snake -crazy huge earthworm (over 12 inches long) I took all of the pictures below today, except for the earthworm, that was last week.
Baker had a new tooth come in over the weekend. We think he may have another one working its way up because he has been chewing on everything. This turtle seems to be his go to teether today. Poor little guy! (Baker, not the turtle.)
I had my small group ladies night on Tuesday. It was super fun, as usual, but this month was pretty great because I learned some craft skills. Laura is crafty and she shared her knowledge with us. Here are three of the four crafts we did. (My fourth craft, glittered mason jar, did not turn out too well.)
Well not 'baby' but Dutch certainly did. He was starting to complain when he put his shoes on, apparently they were much too small. Oops! He went from a size 6 to a size 8 without us noticing...bad Mommy. I guess that is why he always had raw heels. Better late than never right?
Happy Belated 9 Months to Little Baker! * Length - 28.5 inches (51st percentile) * Weight - 20 lbs 5 oz (49 percentile) * Onesie Size - 6/9 month * Diaper Size - 3 Kisses from Big Bro I love the little details. Like the how he has to eat everything he finds. That is more of a love/hate but that's a long story...well not really. I mean its cute when he 'eats' his toys, it is not cute when I'm trying to make dinner and he seems to find a piece of broken grout and I have to fish it out of his mouth. Look at those sweet eyelashes. He has started standing on his own. He does it best if he has something in his hand, I think it distracts. We just love our handsome little man. I can't believe how fast he is growing!
