The Miller Memories

Dutch just had to put on my boots the other day.  I think he looked pretty dang cute!

I know Dutch looks similar to me, but I'm not sure he is really mine.  I mean look at what his afternoon snack consists of. He must have gotten his love of vegetables from Dan :)

Yesterday I felt crafty...not like clever and underhanded crafty, but just Do-It-Yourself make something crafty.  So I made a Christmas card holder.  I used things we had around the house:  cardboard, fabric, ribbon, paper clips, buttons, and LOTS of hot glue.  It only took about an hour and I think it turned out pretty cute.

The weekend after Thanksgiving we got the Christmas tree up and decorated.  We had a great time getting it all together and looking through our special ornaments.  Dutch really enjoyed helping out too! We put the lights on Saturday night and about the time we finished the lights dinner was ready so we called it quits for that night. We finished up with the ornaments the next day. Dutch helping direct Daddy on where to hang the ornaments.  Notice how the bottom half of the tree is ornament free...there is a reason for that :)  The finishing touch.
