Icy Morning (2014/01/24)
We woke up to a Winter Wonderland in January. At least that was what I thought until I realized it was just ice and that the ice was EVERYWHERE. We tried to let the boys go see it, but the sidewalk was too icy for them to stand on, so they just stared from the front porch.

Of course after this Dan attempted to drive to work. He said it was a perilous journey, but he made safely. Safely involved sliding sideways down Hwy 80 and ending up facing the wrong way into oncoming traffic, but he was able to get to the office unharmed. Needless to say, he did not try to come home for lunch that day.
