15 Months
I don't think I've done a 'monthly update' in about 3 months...sorry! Here is a 'quarterly update' :)
Weight: 24lbs 8 oz (50th percentile)
Height: 32 in (75th percentile)
Head Circumference: 47.5 cm (60th percentile)
Dutch is still long and lean. Dr. Esparza said he looks great! Although he is still short on hair. He asked if we had given Dutch a haircut yet, I laughed. Dutch got 4 shots today :( It was not a happy time for the little guy, but after a few hours he seems to have fully calmed down. Or it could be the tylenol I gave him when we got home.
Well, here are some pictures and fun facts about our little Dutch.
He is only taking one nap a day now. He wakes up anywhere between 5:00a and 6:15a and is ready for a nap at noon. Occasionally I'll try to keep him up so that he can see Dan at lunch, that doesn't usually work. As you can see, when Dutch is ready for his nap he does not kid around.

He also really likes to wear things that are out of the norm. Like the saddle from his bouncy horse. He likes to have it strapped onto his back and he walks around looking like he is on some kind of adventure. He also likes to have things put on his head. It doesn't matter what it is, he wants you to put it on his head. He thinks he is sooo cool when he has something on his head.
He still loves to play "Where's Dutch?" Sometimes he will hide behind something and sometimes we will, but either way he knows when the game has started and he will start peeking around things to find you. When he does find you he squeals and stiffly runs away laughing.
Lastly, he is learning words like crazy. Here is a very brief list of some of his most common words.
- Nanatu - Banana
- Wawa Bah-ul - Water Bottle
- Hair
- Ear
- Eyshes - Eyes
- Teeth
- Toe
- Knee
- Sheep
- Baa
- Dog
- Woof
- Bmmm - Moo
- Hi
- Bye bye
- Dada
- and the newest addition Mama
Again this is a very very abbreviated list, he is talking constantly...and for right now we love it :)
